Xiaomi Mi MIX 4, Mi Note 11 And MIUI 13 Are On The Way

A member of the XDA forum, kacskrz, discovered that the names of Mi MIX 4, MIUI 13 and Mi Note 11 have appeared in the HTML code of Mi’s official website miui.com.

It’s quite interesting because of the Mi Note 11 and MIUI 13 are not surprising to come soon, there has been no new Mi MIX series smartphones in the past two years.

Xiaomi Mi MIX 4

There is not much news about the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 and MIUI13, but most Weibo bloggers believe that the machine will be launched within this year. At the same time, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra and the Xiaomi Fold are coming.

Last year, a blogger released a picture of an engineering machine that claimed to be the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4. The picture was showing that Xiaomi is developing an under-screen camera version. But there has been no news after that.

According to the blogger, the suspected Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 will use Mi’s third-generation under-screen camera technology. The overall appearance is similar to Mi MIX Alpha, but without a surround screen design. From the picture, we can see that the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 has no holes on the front and adopts the rear quad-camera solution.

As for the in-screen camera technology it will come with, Lu Weibing, general manager of the Redmi brand, said that Xiaomi’s third-generation under-screen camera technology solves two pain points in the field. One is whether the display in the hole area can be visually the same as other areas (pixel compensation). The second is the transmittance of the camera’s selfie and the color cast it causes. He also said that Xiaomi’s third-generation under-screen camera is currently the most advanced technology. And it will become the best solution in the full-screen era.
