Xiaomi CC9e Pushes MIUI 12.0.3 Stable Version Update

According to news from Xiaomi community users, after the previous Xiaomi CC9, today’s Xiaomi CC9e smartphone also received the MIUI 12 stable version update. The system version is V12.0.3.0, and the update size is 2.3GB. Xiaomi officially stated that this update is a grayscale test.

Previously, according to Xiaomi’s official MIUI 12 push list, the third batch of smartphones that will be updated MIUI 12 include: Xiaomi CC9e, Xiaomi Note 3, Xiaomi Mi MAX 3, Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, Xiaomi Mi 6X, Redmi Note 8, Redmi 8. It also includes the Redmi 8A, Redmi 7, Redmi 7A, Redmi 6 series, Redmi Note 5, Redmi S2. Other models are also testing the development version. So, it is expected that the official version of MIUI 12 will be released one after another.

Although the new version of MIUI 12 is the official version, there are still many problems. Among them, we should mention the high power consumption, freezes, and high power consumption for the screen display.

Xiaomi official staff responded in the community that this update is a grayscale test. The purpose of the grayscale test is to randomly push updates to a small group of users before the major version comes. It is for verify the completion of the system and count user feedback so as to facilitate subsequent push to all users.

The Xiaomi Mi CC9e uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor. It is the same as the CC9 in terms of photography. This smartphone uses a Sony 48-megapixel main camera and a 32-megapixel front camera. It supports AI portrait mode for easy selfies. The phone has a 6-inch AMOLED screen with on-screen fingerprint recognition technology and weighs only 173.8g. The initial price of Mi CC9e starts at 1299 yuan ($198).
