According to Samsung’s past practice, the new Galaxy S series will be released in the spring of 2021. But the Note series will be released in the fall. However, with the rise of folding screen phones, the Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip have become the new leaders in the high-end series. According to some media reports, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 may replace the Galaxy Note 21 in advance. It will also support the S Pen stylus.
Earlier, Korean media said that the Galaxy Note 21 may be “abandoned”. The reason is that it lacks differentiation from S21 Ultra and Z Fold 3. There is news that these two models will also support S Pen. This detail will make the device more attractive, especially for the business area. It is reported that Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 3 in June 2021. As said, it will come with a dedicated S Pen holder. But the stylus needs to be purchased separately by users.

However, due to the folding screen design, if you want the Fold 3 to support handwriting, you need to improve the screen design to make it more wear-resistant and durable. Samsung is currently developing the second-generation ultra-thin glass (UTG). It is said to have passed tests for flexibility, long-term durability and resistance to S Pen scratches. What is not yet determined is whether the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will also become Samsung’s first device using UDC (Under Display Camera) technology.
