Redmi Note 9 Series Screen Panel Leaked: 120Hz High Refresh Rate

Today, a Weibo blogger showed the LCD panel of the Redmi Note 9 series.

The blogger revealed that the Redmi Note 9 series will use a LCD hole-punch screen. The diameter of a single hole is close to mainstream flagship phones. Not only that, but the Redmi Note 9 series also adopts a 120Hz high refresh rate. And the touch sampling rate reaches 240Hz. This will be the first high-refresh rate model in the Redmi Note series.

According to the Chinese leakster, the company might launch three new models in this series. The tipster further claims that the models will appear on the market by the middle of November. Furthermore, one of the phones will be the first in the Redmi Note series to boast a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor.

The size of this sensor is 1/1.52 inches and the unit pixel area is 0.7μm. In addition, it supports 9 pixels in one, which is equivalent to 2.1μm. The smartphone can effectively increase the amount of light and ensure the details of the picture in extremely dark environments.

What Else?

In terms of specifications, the high-end version of the Redmi Note 9 may sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor. What about the standard version, it may be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 will have a battery of 5020mAh capacity. In addition, the high-end version will also support 33W fast charging.

Combined with the previously exposed information, the high-end version may get a name of Redmi Note 9 Pro. And the standard version is named Redmi Note 9. It is not yet certain whether it will provide a 4G version like the Redmi 10X series.

Tthe starting price of the Redmi Note series is expected to be around 1,000 yuan ($140).
