On October 15, 2020, ZMI’s annual new product launch conference was held. And ZMI’s first true wireless headset the ZMI PurPods Pro came out as well.
The ZMI PurPods Pro costs only 399 yuan ($55.86), which is even cheaper than Xiaomi’s noise-canceling headphones Air 2 Pro. The latter’s price is 699 yuan ($97.86). This headset was sold for the first time today. As a result, it was sold out on the entire platform within 3 minutes. But there were no specific sales.
The second wave of pre-sales is set on November 11, and it will go on sale on platforms such as Tmall, JD, Xiaomi Youpin, and Suning.
The ZMI PurPods Pro supports ANC dual active noise reduction, achieving 35dB noise reduction depth. It is worth mentioning that the noise reduction effect is comparable to the Apple AirPods Pro.

The ZMI PurPods Pro supports smart pressure-sensitive buttons, similar to the AirPods Pro. Long press can switch between three modes of noise reduction, transparency, and noise reduction off. Short press can pause songs, answer calls, and so on.
It uses a Bluetooth 5.2 technology and claims that the signal can cover 200 meters, equivalent to the length of two football fields. The headset supports Speech+FF+FB 3Mic call noise reduction technology.
Sound and Battery
In terms of sound quality, the ZMI PurPods Pro uses a composite diaphragm moving coil unit. Moreover, it supports EQsmart adaptive technology. It also cooperates with the MIUI system to automatically enter the game low-latency mode, with a minimum delay of only 87mm.
In terms of battery life, it features 7 hours in noise reduction mode, 8 hours in transparent mode, and 10 hours in noise reduction off mode. Through its charging case, the maximum battery life is about 32 hours. On the other hand, it also supports fast charging with up to 50 percent of the charge being delivered in just a 15 minutes top-up.
