In addition to the flagship Mi 10 Ultra, Mi 10 Pro, and Mi 10, this series product line also has a mid-range model Mi 10 Lite this year. And surprisingly, the Xiaomi Mi 10i will also be launched soon.
On December 10, the Xiaomi Mi 10i appeared on the GeekBench benchmark website. Seems like it will be officially released in January 2021.
In terms of parameters, the Xiaomi Mi 10i sports the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor and Android 10 (MIUI 12) pre-installed at the factory. The smartphone includes 8GB of memory.
It is not difficult to see from the Snapdragon 750G chip that Xiaomi Mi 10i is positioned as a mid-range model. Previously, the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite and Redmi Note 9 Pro Chinese version used this SoC. On the other hand, it is reported that the Snapdragon 750G has two Cortex-A77 high-performance cores clocked at 2.2GHz and six Cortex-A55 high-efficiency cores.
Compared with the previous generation A76, the performance of the A77 core is increased by 20%. In contrast, the power consumption is reduced by 15%. This is the first time the Snapdragon 7 series platform has adopted the A77 architecture. It is the same as the flagship platform Snapdragon 865.
In addition to the Snapdragon 750G, the Xiaomi Mi 10i may also use an LCD screen or support side fingerprint recognition.
The Xiaomi Mi 10i may feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The device should offer a 108MP quad-rear camera setup with the Samsung HM2 sensor. The 108MP sensor will get accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 120° field-of-views, 2MP depth, and also 2MP macro sensor. For the selfies, the smartphone is expected to offer a 16MP front shooter.
The smartphone is expected to have a battery capacity of 4,820mAh with 33W fast charging. The smartphone should offer a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an IR sensor.
