Redmi Note 9 Series Sold More Than 300,000 Units For The First Time

Today, Lu Weibing, president of Xiaomi Group China and general manager of the Redmi brand, announced the first sales report of the Redmi Note 9 series. The latter series includes Redmi Note 9 4G, 5G, and Pro versions.

After going on sale this morning, in just 12 hours, this new set of smartphones has managed to reach record sales of no less than 300,000 units taking into account all sales channels. However, it was the first time that Redmi series sales exceeded 300,000.

Product Director Wang Teng said that the Redmi Note 9 Pro is the most popular among the three Musketeers in the Redmi series. And one of the factors of popularity is its price, starting at 1599 yuan (6GB+128GB).


In addition, the Redmi Note 9 Pro uses a 100-megapixel night scene camera to decentralize its flagship imaging technology for the first time. Lu Weibing also emphasized that the Note 9 Pro camera is invincible within 3,000 yuan ($450), including the flagship.

Not only that, the smartphone uses a 6.67-inch LCD hole punch screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. On the other hand, it is the first smartphone using Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor. It also features up to 8GB memory + 256GB storage. The battery capacity is 4820mAh and it also sports 33W fast charging. You will find a USB-C port on the bottom edge as well as a headphone jack.
