On September 30, a Weibo blogger said that Redmi will launch the Snapdragon 750G model in the domestic market. It is assumed to be the Redmi Note 10.
When the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor was released, we knew that Xiaomi would release this chip for the first time. Now it appears that Redmi will be the first to use Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G. And the first model may be the Redmi Note 10 series.
It was previously revealed that the Redmi Note 10 series includes three models – the 4G version, the 5G standard version and the 5G Pro version. They are similar in layout to the Redmi 10X series (the Redmi 10X series also has Redmi 10X 4G, Redmi 10X 5G and Redmi 10X Pro 5G). Two of the 5G models may be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G and MediaTek Dimensity 820 processors respectively.
It is reported that the positioning of the Snapdragon 750G is slightly inferior to that of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G. It is based on an 8nm process and has an eight-core CPU design, including two large cores and six energy-efficient cores. The large core is Cortex A77 and it integrates the Adreno 619 GPU. The Dimensity 820 is MediaTek’s mid-to-high-end 5G chip. It uses a 7nm process and consists of 4xCortex A76 2.6GHz+4×Cortex A55 2.0GHz. The GPU is Mali-G57 MC5 and supports 5G dual carrier aggregation and 5G+5G dual cards.
Judging from the positioning of the two chips, the Redmi Note 10 may be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 750. But the Redmi Note 10 Pro may use MediaTek Dimensity 820. The series is expected to be released around October.
