Today, Redmi officially announced the new Redmi Smart TV A series’ appointments will be opened soon.

It has not announced the specific information of the new Redmi Smart TV A series. The current Redmi brand smart TVs are available in 40-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch, 70-inch and 98-inch sizes, among which 50, 55 and 65 inches are the Redmi Smart TV X series products.

The appearance of the Redmi TV A series will complement the “small sizes” such as 32 inches and 43 inches, further enriching the Redmi Smart TV product line. From the naming point of view, the Redmi TV A series seems to be the entry-level product of Redmi TV. It is expected to be positioned in the thousand yuan (approximately $150) price range.

In the future, the Redmi TV A series may replace the entry-level products of Xiaomi TV, focusing on the ultimate cost-effectiveness, while Xiaomi TV may focus on the mid-to-high-end market, similar to the positioning and layout of Xiaomi smartphones. At present, Xiaomi TV has successfully entered the high-end market. The Xiaomi TV Master Series has launched two high-end products. One is the Xiaomi TV Master Series 65-inch Oled, priced at 12,999 yuan ($1925) and the other is Xiaomi transparent TV, priced at 49,999 yuan ($7400).

In May this year, Redmi released the Redmi TV X series. It is positioned as a “light flagship” for young people. It is available in 65-inch and 55-inch versions. In addition, the poster shows that the new A series TV adopts an ultra-narrow bezel design. It looks very similar to the X series overall.
