Last year, Xiaomi announced the independent operation of the POCO brand. Then, POCO launched the annual flagship POCO F2 Pro, which corresponds to the Chinese version of the Redmi K30 Pro. The latter comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 flagship processor, a pop-up front camera, and a rear 64MP AI quad-camera.
It is not difficult to see from the name (POCO F2 Pro) that the POCO F2 series should still have a standard version. But this new machine has not been officially released so far.
Entering 2021, the new POCO F2 product expected by non-Chinese Mi fans has surfaced, and its mystery will soon be unveiled.
Today, POCO India officially released a trailer on Twitter, which responded to POCO’s development history in the past year. At the end of the trailer, we can see the suffix ‘F2’. This is a clear hint that the POCO F2 is about to debut.
There is no doubt that the positioning of the POCO F2 is lower than that of the POCO F2 Pro, which means its price will be lower. The 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage version of the POCO F2 Pro is priced at 499 euros, while the 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage version costs 599 euros.
Earlier, we learned that the POCO F2 is codenamed courbet and positioned as a mid-range. It uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor, four rear camera sensors, a 4250mAh battery, and supports reverse charging and NFC.
