As previously announced, Xiaomi finally released the Mi 11 smartphone. On top of that, Xiaomi also brought the Xiaomi Mi 11 Special Edition.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Special Edition Design
The Mi 11 Special Edition sports a three-dimensional textured glass back cover and a special packaging box. It has a unique body design, including Xiaomi’s first glass surface hot-pressing texture process and a blue-purple glow under the light. Besides, on the lower-left corner of the body, you will notice the gold signature of Lei Jun.

The Mi 11 Lei Jun signature edition is similar to the common version. It is equipped with a 6.81-inch 2K quad-curved AMOLED screen, which sports a 120Hz refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling rate. The excitation brightness of the smartphone reaches up to 900 units, while the peak brightness can reach 1500 units. Furthermore, it also supports a primary color screen and 10bit color depth. In terms of processor, Xiaomi Mi 11 Special Edition supports the Snapdragon 888 chip, which uses a 5nm process. In comparison with the Snapdragon 865 processor, the overall CPU performance is increased by 25%, and the power consumption has a reduction by 25%. Moreover, the GPU performance has an improvement of 35%.
In terms of camera settings, Mi 11 Special Edition uses a 100MP main camera with a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5MP telephoto macro lens. Besides, the front lens of the smartphone is 20MP and supports a wide-angle panoramic group photo mode. In other aspects, the Xiaomi Mi 11 is equipped with a 4600mAh battery that supports 55W fast charging, 50W wireless fast charging, and 10W reverse charging. Other features include X-axis linear motors and Harman Kardon tuning dual speakers, which sports multi-function NFC and infrared remote control.
In terms of price, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Special Edition has only the 12G + 256G version, the price of which is 4699 Yuan ($720). Regarding the standard version of Mi 11, we have 8+128GB version (3999 Yuan), 8+256GB (4299 Yuan), and 12+256GB (4699 Yuan).
