Vivo X60/Pro Are Officially Released: Zeiss Lens + Exynos 1080 Processor

Yesterday, Vivo held a new product launch conference and launched the VIVO X60 series, including the Vivo X60 and Pro smartphones.

VIVO X60 series

In terms of appearance, the body thickness of the Vivo X60 is only 7.36mm. It is the thinnest 5G smartphone of Vivo to date. The body thickness of the Pro version is 7.59mm. The front and rear use 3D curved surfaces. This Vivo series continues the classic two-color cloud-level design. At the same time, the entire system sports AMOLED flexible screens with COP packaging technology as standard. The series has three colors: Original Force, Shimmer, and Huacai.

In terms of screen, the smartphone uses a 6.56-inch 120Hz high refresh rate screen with 240Hz touch sampling rate. Moreover, it has passed the Swiss SGS screen certification.

Exynos 1080 processor

In terms of performance, the Vivo X60 series features the Exynos 1080 processor. It is the first in the world to adopt the “dual A78 architecture”. Compared with the previous generation, single-core performance is increased by 50%, multi-core performance is increased by 100%. And the graphics performance is increased by 130%.

What about the imaging, the Vivo X60 series of multifocal systems all use Zeiss optical lenses. It includes a 25mm second-generation micro-head main camera lens, a 50mm professional portrait lens, a 16mm wide-angle macro lens, and a 125mm periscope lens. At the same time, the main camera of the Pro version uses AOA technology. The light input is 16.8% higher than the previous generation. Using the newly upgraded second-generation micro-head stabilizer, the VIS five-axis video image stabilization effect has been improved again. The image stabilization effect is 3 times that of the traditional OIS . So, it can bring more stable, clearer, and lossless photo effects.

The X60 series is based on the second-generation micro PTZ to allow longer exposure time for shooting and then cooperates with Vivo’s super night scene algorithm to realize the super night scene function. In addition, it can also realize the super wide-angle night scene and panoramic night scene function.

1X, 2X, 5X multi-focal motion capture

On the other hand, the Vivo X60 series sports the classic Zeiss Biotar portrait style. It can make the central character clear while making the out-of-focus blur present a vortex, eye-catching, and dreamy surreal portrait photography effect. The Vivo X60 series includes the old photo restoration and coloring function. Thus, it restores the clarity of black and white portrait photos and can also color them.

Based on the second-generation micro PTZ, with the newly upgraded Vivo motion detection algorithm, the Vivo X60 supports 1X, 2X multi-focal motion capture. The Vivo X60 Pro can achieve 1X, 2X, 5X multi-focal motion capture.

VIVO X60 series

The vivo X60 series sports a variety of movie shooting functions, including 21:9 widescreen mode, movie texture filter, VIS five-axis video image stabilization, No. 89 Onde Street subtitle group, and three-dimensional noise reduction chase. An ordinary user can become a movie master who records life with just a smartphone.

Battery and Other Features

In other aspects, the X60 version has a built-in 4300mAh battery. And the X60 Pro has a built-in 4200mAh battery. Both support 33W flash charging and are pre-installed with OriginOS. The Vivo X60 Pro also features a CS43131 independent HiFi chip.

The price of Vivo X60 is 3498 yuan ($525) (8+128G), 3798 yuan ($579) (8+256G), 3998 yuan ($600) (12+256G); Vivo Pro version is 4498 yuan ($675) (12+256G). Online and offline pre-sales will be launched simultaneously on December 29, and full sales will begin on January 8.
