Snapdragon 888 New Machine, Black Shark 4 Is Coming

At the Snapdragon Technology Summit held in Hawaii in December last year, Qualcomm officially released a new generation of flagship chip Snapdragon 888. At the technology summit, Qualcomm announced that many smartphones makers such as Asus, Black Shark, Lenovo, LG, Meizu, Motorola, Nubia, Realme, OnePlus, OPPO, Sharp, VIVO, Xiaomi and ZTE are developing smartphones based on this chip. Black Shark Technology CEO announced today on Weibo that something big will happen tomorrow morning. Not surprisingly, the new flagship phone of the Black Shark 4 equipped with the Snapdragon 888 processor is coming.

Previously, Luo Yuzhou warmed up the new Black Shark gaming smartphone, praising it as “a veritable invincible”. Luo Yuzhou also said that Black Shark has a feature that has surpassed the iPhone 12 Pro in the experimental stage. The Black Shark 4 series may have this new feature. Earlier, according to a Weibo blogger, the new Black Shark phone powered by the Snapdragon 888, code-named “Emperor”, is ready to launch.

According to the latest news, gaming phones such as the Black Shark 4 will use a 1080P screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz or higher. The higher refresh rate in the display can bring special benefits to the game-the action looks smoother and more natural, making the action look great. Not all games have been optimized for high refresh rates, but the number of titles is growing. The Black Shark 4 series will also support a 120W fast charging.

As for the Snapdragon 888, it uses 1 x 2.84GHz (ARM’s latest Cortex X1 core) +3 x 2.4GHz (Cortex A78) +4 x 1.8GHz (Cortex A55), Adreno 660 GPU and X60 5G modem baseband. It also supports WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2.
