Yesterday, the 3C database updated the data of a smartphone code-named “RMX2202”. The update shows that it features a 65W fast charge. At the beginning of this month, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the certified new machine Realme GT 5G. Its model is RMX2202. Therefore, Realme’s flagship GT 5G this year may not come with the previously rumored 125W fast charge.
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s telecommunications equipment access disclosure website showed the appearance of this new machine. The machine uses a straight screen with a hole in the upper left corner. There is a “GT” logo on the back, and a conventional vertical double-row design for the rear camera.

The Realme GT 5G will feature a hole-punch design with slim bezels and an in-display fingerprint reader for secure authentication of biometric data. On the rear, it will house a triple camera unit.
The handset is said to bear a 6.8-inch QHD+ (1440×3200 pixels) OLED screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a 120Hz refresh rate.
In addition, Realme announced that it will hold a new product launch conference on March 4. At that time the company will officially release Realme’s first flagship model in 2021, Realme GT 5G. The full name of GT is “Grand Tourer”. The latter means a luxury high-performance car. Realme uses GT to name the new series, revealing its intention to build a high-end flagship smartphone series.
Further, foreign media GSMArena predicts that Realme GT will feature a 120Hz high refresh rate screen. It may support Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. In terms of storage, the phone comes with 12GB RAM, 256GB storage space, and a 5000 mAh battery. The system is Realme UI based on Android 11. 2.0.
