OPPO Reno 5 Series Will Be Officially Launched On December 10

OPPO continued to promote the Reno 5 series, suggesting that the Reno 5 series will include a variety of models. In addition, they will have new highlights in color, materials, special effects, and immersive experience. It deliberately highlights a certain characteristic of “glowing” and “flickering like stars”.

There are only three days left before the official release of the OPPO Reno 5 series on December 10th. And according to current information, the OPPO Reno 5 and Reno 5 Pro 5G may sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chip and the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chip. In terms of camera, the smartphones will feature a 32MP front camera and a 64MP quad-camera on the back. Plus, it offers Starry Dream, Floating Light and Night Shadow, Wish Red, and other color variants.

HDR10+ certification

The front shouldn’t change much, coming with the usual Full HD+ hole-punch OLED screen and with certification HDR10+. However, the OPPO Reno 5 Pro and / or Reno 5 Pro+ should sport a curved display. According to the leaked specifications, the diagonals would be from 6,43″ for the basic model and 6,55″ for the two Pros. All variants will support 90Hz refresh rate.

Furthermore, the OPPO Reno 5 uses luminous materials for the first time on smartphones. It also uses Reno Glow 2.0 crystal diamond technology, with more than 1 million diamond-like three-dimensional crystal planes finely distributed. The Weibo blogger said that OPPO Reno 5’s rear lens module comes with a luminous effect.

It is also worth mentioning that the OPPO Reno 5 series will come with FDF full-dimensional portrait video technology system. It is the industry’s first portrait video phone and we also expect it to bring new surprises in portrait video.
