Today, 91mobiles reported that OPPO will release the new OPPO Reno 2 in India on August 28. The company also released a corresponding poster that reveals everything necessary for this event. Say, the preview mentions the ‘series’, which means that OPPO will release a variety of models and not a single model.
At the same time, the poster also confirmed that the OPPO Reno 2 uses a quad-camera on the rear. This camera supports 20x zoom. Moreover, the front-facing camera is followed by the OPPO Reno 10x zoom version. Thus, it is a full-concealed camera, with a side-scrolling structure.
A teaser video posted by OPPO also reveals the Reno 2 will come with an Ultra Steady Video with OIS, Ultra Clear Mode, as well as Ultra Dark Mode to capture clear images even in extreme low light conditions.
This is also consistent with previous news that OPPO will launch the third smartphone of the Reno series before the end of this month. The upcoming smartphone debuting in India will be priced at 35,000 rupees (about $491).
Not that much is known about the upcoming handset but the pricing and the powerful camera on both sides hint that it will be a mid-to-high-end model. So there is every reason to think our protagonist will be packed with the newest Qualcomm platform Snapdragon 855 Plus. We are also expecting for the OPPO Reno 2 to come with a screen fingerprint recognition module and an AMOLED screen.
Well, there are a few days left before the launch of this phone and we are sure we will get more news concerning its key features.
