OPPO Find X3 officially announced the full-link 10bit color engine

Today, another feature of the OPPO Find X3 series was announced. The full-link 10bit color engine will bring new breakthroughs in color for smartphones. At present, many flagship smartphones have used 10bit hardware, and 1.07 billion color displays can bring smoother color transitions. But as we all know, hardware needs to be combined with software algorithms to achieve the greatest effect. The full-link 10bit color engine of  the  OPPO Find X3 series will be born for this. The OPPO Find X3 should have at least two models. Among them, the Find X3 will be equipped with the Snapdragon 870 flagship processor. The Find X3 Pro will be equipped with the top Snapdragon 888 processor.

Oppo Find X3 Features

The full-link 10bit color engine can enable the collection, calculation, encoding, storage, decoding, and display of the entire color link with the processing capability of 10bit color data. To put it simply, it means “photograph 1 billion colors, save 1 billion colors, and see 1 billion colors”. Only when every algorithm is executed in place can the potential of hardware configurations such as 10bit images and 10bit screens be maximized. Because the color management of Android phones is not mature enough, it is at a loss when faced with the rich color coding of multimedia files. As a result, the color we see with the naked eye is quite different from the original color of the picture. With the intervention of the full-link 10bit color engine, this phenomenon will greatly improve. And It allow the screen to truly reflect the creator’s true intentions.

On the whole, the full-link 10bit color engine has great benefits for both images and display. The OPPO Find X3 series supported by this technology can bring us a more professional experience.
