OPPO is developing a successor product to the A73 smartphone, named the OPPO A74. Yesterday, this smartphone has been exposed overseas. The machine has been certified by many organizations, including FCC, Bureau of Standards of India, Indonesia’s TKDN, Eurasian Economic Commission, Wi-Fi Alliance, etc. The OPPO A74 models are CPH2197 and CPH2195. These may correspond to the 4G version and 5G version, equipped with Android 10-based ColorOS 11 system. The size is about 162.9×74.7×8.4mm. The weight is about 190 grams.

The machine will come with a 5000mAh battery with a charging power of 33W. The OPPO A73 5G, the previous generation smartphone, was launched overseas last year with a punch-hole screen design. The screen is a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of FHD+. In addition, it supports a 90Hz refresh rate. The back of the machine adopts a gradient color design with vertical division. The rear three-camera module includes a 16-megapixel main camera + 8-megapixel wide-angle + 2-megapixel depth-of-field camera, and a front 8-megapixel selfie camera. Furthermore, the Dimensity 720 processor inside the machine is acomppanied by 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM, and supports 5G network.
Speaking about the connectivity, the CPH2219 is likely a 4G smartphone, because another device, model numbered CPH2197, has been certified with 5G connectivity options and a 5,000 mAh battery. Unlike its LTE version, the Oppo A74 5G will have Android 11 with ColorOS 11 out of the box. Moreover, the phone will have 33W fast charging, an update from the 30W on the LTE-only Oppo A73 and the 18W on its 5G sibling. In other aspects, the OPPO A73 5G is equipped with a 4040mAh battery. It supports 18W charging, built-in ColorOS 7.2 system based on Android 10. So its price is 299 euros (about 2362 yuan).
