Yesterday morning, Meizu officially announced that it will hold a new product launch conference on March 3 and release the Meizu 18 series flagship smartphones. The line includes the Meizu 18 and the Meizu 18 Pro models.
According to bloggers, two new models of the Meizu 18 series have been certified for network access, and information shows that they will support 36W and 40W fast charging specifications respectively.
However, we should note that the certification information indicates that these two phones are not sold with a power adapter. This simply means that the charging head will not be included in the package.
Earlier, Apple took the lead in canceling the bonus charging head in the name of environmental protection. Then, Samsung, Xiaomi and other manufacturers have followed it.
However, at the time of release, the Xiaomi Mi 11 provided consumers with an optional package version. It comes with a set of fast charging devices for free. So it put the option of “environmental protection” in the hands of users.
Unlike the warm-up style that other manufacturers conceal, Meizu officially announced the appearance renderings of the Meizu 18 and 18 Pro models on the first day of the warm-up.
As we can see, the appearance of the Meizu 18 and 18 Pro is basically the same. But the size of the body is slightly different. The front side uses a curved display with a hole in the center. The appearance of the whole machine is relatively round.
According to relevant reports, the Meizu 18 will use Qualcomm’s newly launched Snapdragon 870 processor. It is based on the Snapdragon 865 on Meizu 17, which brings strong performance and is also expected to lower the price.
The Meizu 18 Pro will come with the industry’s top Snapdragon 888 processor, at least 8GB+128GB storage, and will have a comprehensive improvement in screen parameters, fast charging, and photography.
In addition, Flyme, one of the biggest highlights of Meizu smartphones, will also usher in a major upgrade this time. Meizu will hold a special press conference on March 2 to officially launch the Flyme 9 operating system.
