Yesterday, following the schedule, the Black Shark 3S gaming phone was officially released.
In terms of price, the Tencent Black Shark 3S gaming phone 12+128GB version costs 3999 yuan ($573), the 12+256GB version is 4299 yuan ($616), and the 12+512GB version comes at 4799 yuan ($688). The pre-sale has already started, but it will appear on the shelves on August 4.
The machine continues the design style of the previous generation, with a front non-shaped screen, dual speakers, a symmetrical design on the back, glass material and metal frame. The handset is available in two color variants of sky cloud black and crystal blue.
In terms of core configuration, the Black Shark 3S gaming phone uses a 6.67-inch Samsung AMOELD screen. It has a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 270Hz. Under the hood, we can find a Snapdragon 865 SoC, which is supplemented by an LPDDR5 memory + UFS 3.1 flash storage. The battery capacity is 4720mAh, and it supports 65W wired flash charging and 18W back magnetic charging.
According to the official introduction, the machine pioneered the game frame rate synchronization technology. Combined with Tencent SolarCore, it supports 13 games running at 120Hz refresh rate.
At the same time, the Black Shark 3S gaming phone has a built-in disk accelerator. This is the first time that the virtual memory disk technology of the PC appears on the smartphone field, making the application start and run faster.
Heat dissipation is one of the main highlights of this machine. It inherits the previous generation of ‘sandwich’ liquid cooling system. Also, it comes with a central motherboard design, covering key heat sources such as the processor, 5G chips, and the layout of the charging circuit.
The Black Shark 3S has three rear camera sensors. They are a 64MP main lens, a 12MP ultra wide-angle lens, and a 5MP lens. The front camera has a 20MP resolution.
