Xiaomi Youpin Crowdfunding ‘Forbidden City’ Smartwatch Released

According to IT House, Xiaomi Youpin has recently launched a smartwatch called Nian Nian SmartWatch. This innovative device belongs to the “New Palace Museum” series. It is currently in crowdfunding. The crowdfunding price of the Forbidden City smartwatch is 1299 yuan ($185), though the original price is 1699 yuan ($243).

This watch uses a pure round dial, a 1.3-inch OLED anti-scratch display, and a 71% screen ratio. The chassis of the so-called Nian Nian Smartwatch also comes with an austenitic 316L stainless steel, embossed from the classic palace standard, using forged carving process, engraved palace elements.

The Xiaomi Youpin Forbidden city smartwatch uses an exclusive custom-made Forbidden City dial. Thanks to the advanced intelligent voice control functionality, you can change the dial just by a single word. The strap is made of cowhide leather imported from Italy. Besides, the color of the green strap comes from the Qingfei cotton robe of the Forbidden City. This design style makes the Nian Nian smartwatches fresh and natural.

In other aspects, the Forbidden City smartwatch also supports smartphone push messages, wristwatch quick notifications, scan code payment, and NFC. Plus, the Nian Nian SmartWatch also supports automatic motion recognition as well as three satellite positioning systems. In terms of health, the smartwatch supports 24-hour heart rate monitoring, swimming-grade waterproof, AI personal assistant, etc. In addition, the latter uses Google’s native WearOS system with built-in applications such as WeChat, QQ, Keep, and Netease Cloud Music. All these features make the Nian Nian more competitive among the equivalent products.
