RedmiBook Pro 14 and 15 Officially Released

On February 25, 2021, at the Redmi K40 conference, RedmiBook’s first “Pro” series product, RedmiBook Pro, was officially released. The RedmiBook Pro uses the latest intel 11th generation Core H35 standard voltage processor, 2.5K and 3.2K high-refresh rate full-screen, USB3.2 and Thunderbolt 4 interfaces, and WiFi6 technology. The fuselage structure adopts a 6-series aviation-grade aluminum alloy micro-level CNC integrated precision carving process, which is rare in the same price product, making its internal and external structure stronger than traditional metal stamping notebooks.

RedmiBook releases its first Pro series

The RedmiBook Pro is also equipped with a two-in-one fingerprint recognition power button, a built-in camera, and a large-size touchpad. For the first time, Xiao Ai has been applied to the notebook side, through exclusive physical buttons. The keyboard still maintains a comfortable keystroke design, with three-level adjustable backlight. The RedmiBook Pro battery is equipped with a maximum of 70Wh high-capacity battery and 100W Type-C charger. The new MIUI+ is supported for mutual transmission, and all systems are still pre-installed with genuine Windows and genuine Office.

 Through these upgrades and improvements, the RedmiBook Pro, as the start of 2021, strives to achieve the expectations of RedmiBook users in terms of performance, appearance, functional interface, hand feel experience and battery capacity, and achieve the level of “Pro” products.

This time, the RedmiBook Pro brings 6 models to choose from. The 14-inch i5 version of RedmiBook Pro is officially priced at 4699 yuan ($728), the i5 single display version is priced at 5299 yuan ($821), and the i7 single display version is priced 5999 yuan ($929). The RedmiBook Pro 15-inch i5 set display version is priced at 4999 yuan ($774), the i5 independent display version is priced at 5499 yuan ($852), and the i7 independent display version is priced at 6,299 yuan ($976). All 14-inch models will be available for pre-sale at 21:30 on February 25th, and will be sold in all channels at 0:00 on March 4th; the 15-inch i5 exclusive display version will be available for pre-sale at 10:00 on March 6. First sale in all channels will start at 10 o’clock on March 15th. Other models will also go on sale in the near future, so stay tuned.

3.2K super retina full screen super high-quality screen at mainstream price

The RedmiBook Pro 14 and 15 are equipped with a 2.5K and 3.2K super retina full screen, respectively. The RedmiBook Pro 15 screen supports 90Hz high refresh, which can be quickly switched between 60Hz and 90Hz through Fn+S. In particular, the 3.2K Super Retina screen has as many as 6.4 million pixels in screen resolution, which is up to 3 times higher than the FHD screen.

At the same time, the entire series of products adopt a 16:10 screen ratio, which is about 5.8% higher than the 16:9 viewing area, supports 100% sRGB high color gamut, and maintains a narrow-frame full-screen design with a built-in camera. It also has a 178° wide viewing angle, DC dimming, and low blue light certification by TUV Rheinland. This is a high-quality screen that is hard to see in the mainstream price range.

11th generation Core H35 standard pressure processor

In terms of core configuration, the RedmiBook Pro 15 uses a brand-new Intel 11-generation Core H35 standard processor, with optional i7-11370H and i5-11300H processors, nVidia GeForce MX450 2GB discrete graphics. Putting a standard H processor into a thin and light notebook shows how powerful the Hurricane cooling system is. The highest variant comes with Intel 11 Core i7-11370H processor, which uses a 10nm process, has 4 cores and 8 threads, and the turbo frequency is up to 4.8GHz.

The RedmiBook Pro 14 has i7-1165G7 and i5-1135G7 two processors, that come with nVidia GeForce MX450 2GB discrete graphics or intel Iris Xe Graphics integrated graphics. Both 15-inch and 14-inch models are equipped with 16GB DDR4 3200MHz memory and 512GB PCIe bus solid state drive.

In addition, the RedmiBook Pro 15 is also equipped with a 70-watt-hour large-capacity battery and a 100W Type-C charger, which supports 1C fast charging, and can charge up to 50% of the power in 35 minutes when it is turned off.

Micron-level CNC integrated fine carving technology popularizes top-level technology

The RedmiBook Pro uses 6-series aviation-grade aluminum alloy material, which is stronger and tougher than 5-series aluminum alloy. A and C sides use micron-level CNC integrated precision carving technology, and the screen shaft adopts an integrated shaft design. Compared with a notebook with a metal stamping process in the entire body, the RedmiBook Pro has better seam uniformity, surface texture, firmness, and quality.

In terms of appearance process, the RedmiBook Pro also uses No. 170 precision ceramic sandblasting, which is more delicate and moist than the traditional iron sandblasting process.

The keyboard surface of RedmiBook Pro adopts a 0.3mm hyperboloid groove design, which makes the typing feel more suitable. The 14-inch version and the 15-inch version have 1.3mm/1.5mm keystrokes respectively. They come with three-level adjustable backlight, and integrate a two-in-one fingerprint recognition power button and Xiao Ai’s exclusive button on the C side. All variants are equipped with integrated Microsoft 125×81.6mm large-size touchpad with PTP touch technology. In terms of interfaces, RedmiBook Pro is equipped with rich interfaces such as Thunderbolt 4, multi-function Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen1, and HDMI.

For the first time, Xiao Ai’s new MIUI+ mobile phone and computer are built in for seamless cooperation

The RedmiBook Pro is pre-installed with genuine Windows 10 Home Chinese Edition, genuine Office Home and Student Edition. At the same time, it is equipped with exclusive buttons for “Xiao Ai”, which can use Xiao Ai with one click, and supports the new MIUI+, providing a more convenient and complete cross-screen collaborative operation experience.

RedmiBook Pro’s exclusive buttons for Xiao Ai are the first time that Xiao Ai is built into the notebook. It supports button wake-up.
