Redmi Earbuds 2C And Redmi Sonicbass Released

The latest earphones in Xiaomi Redmi’s lineup are here with the Redmi EarBuds 2C and SonicBass. Both come with affordable price tags. They feature IPX4 splash and sweatproof designs. Moreover, the earbuds have dual pairing capabilities.

The more compact pair of the new earbuds comes with a plastic carrying case. It extends their battery life to 12 hours. They offer touch controls. On the other hand, the earbuds can trigger your preferred voice assistant on both Android and iOS.

Pairing is done via Bluetooth 5.0. The EarBuds 2C can switch from mono to stereo meaning. It gives an opportunity to use them independently of each other. You can charge it over microUSB.

They come in a single black color. And each bud weighs just 4.1 grams. The Redmi EarBuds 2C retail for INR 1,499 ($20) though the limited launch day promo gets them down to INR 1,299 ($18). They are already up for grabs across major Indian retailers and Xiaomi’s website.

Redmi SonicBass wireless earbuds’ features

The SonicBass feature a neckband design. It also has the physical control buttons on the right side. Like the EarBuds 2C, they come with an IPX4 splash and sweatproof design. In addition, the earbuds also offer 9.2mm drivers, dual pairing capabilities, and they outfit dual mics for canceling out background noise.

The Redmi SonicBass wireless earphones can provide 12 hours of music playback at 80 percent volume, as per Redmi. It has a standby time of 200 hours. The dual pairing facilitated by multipoint Bluetooth technology allows it to maintain a connection with two devices simultaneously while the Bluetooth 5.0 LE ensures battery performance does not decrease even when connected to two devices.

The Redmi SonicBass Wireless Earphones also feature dual mics coupled with ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation).

Retail is set at INR 1,299 ($18), there’s a limited introductory price set at INR 999 ($14). They come in black and blue colors. These earbuds are already up for grabs across major retailers in India.

Both devices will be available from 7 October across mi.com, Flipkart, Mi Homes, Mi Studios, and other retail channels.
