OPPO Vice President Shen Yiren broke the news on Weibo. Especially, he said that the new OPPO Reno3 Pro will take a thin and light route in terms of body design. After, he announced some relevant data.
It is reported that the OPPO Reno3 Pro is packed with a 4025mAh battery, with 30W fast charging. Also from rumorland comes info about the Snapdragon 735 chipset running things, aided by 8GB OF RAM and 256GB of storage. The smartphone will have a 32 MP selfie cam, and a quad-rear setup, with a main 60MP shooter. The thickness of the fuselage is controlled at 7.7mm. The weight of the fuselage is only more than 170 grams. It is unclear what the weight of this phone is, but the three figures of 4025mAh, 7.7mm, and “17_g” appear on a phone at the same time.
Also, the OPPO Reno3 Pro is a 5G phone. As we know, the power consumption and heat dissipation pressure of 5G smartphones has increased, therefore, putting a higher test on the fuselage structure design. Most of the 5G smartphones currently on the market are relatively heavy. There are few thin and light smartphones like the OPPO Reno3 Pro. To make a fuss about lightness and thinness necessarily requires a certain technical reserve. At this point, we can expect something from OPPO. Also, it was previously reported that OPPO Reno3 Pro will come with a Qualcomm dual-mode 5G platform. This is based on a 7nm process and has a natural advantage in energy optimization.
It is the first new machine series to be launched with ColorOS 7. From the past pricing of the Reno series, the starting price of the OPPO Reno3 series may be at 2,000 yuan ($284). Due to more features and higher technical content, the price of the Pro version should be also increased. Price may be close to 4,000 yuan ($568).
