Recently, media reports exposed a patent for a folding screen mobile phone that Huawei applied to the European Union Intellectual Property Office. According to the non-official news, a new folding screen smartphone is coming. They speak about Huawei Mate X2.
This patent describes an appearance which is very similar to the Huawei Mate X. However, there are some differences. The left side of the screen has a separate length of the border. The border is equipped with dual cameras, for holding selfie and photographed when the device is folded. According to the pattern information, the coming smartphone has 4 cameras at the rear.
At present, this may be the design of Huawei’s second-generation folding screen flagship Huawei Mate X2 (or Mate Xs).
In fact, on January 18th, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology showed that a Huawei 5G digital smartphone model TAH-AN00m has obtained a network access license. The above mentioned smart device supports dual card dual standby and is coming with the Android operating system. This network access model is very likely to be the Huawei Mate X2.
According to previous news, Huawei Mate X2 has better hinge design. Apart from it, the new smartphone comes with a better processor and better folding screen. As we know from various media reports the Mate Xs will be equipped with Kirin 990 5G processor as well.
Now that it has entered the network, it means that the new machine is not far from the official release. So let’s be patient and to see….
