Xiaomi Launched Redmi Smart TV in China on August 29

The 29th of August was the launch day indeed for the top tech company Xiaomi. On this date, the company launched its first-ever smart TV in China under the brand print Redmi. Along with, the brand also launched its two latest Redmi Note 8 Series Smartphone as well as 3 new variants of the RedmiBook 14.

Features of Redmi Smart TV

As per the TV launch, Xiaomi gets its first-ever smart TV in the portfolio with the Redmi brand. The 70-inch screen is called as Redmi Smart TV and launched in the local market for CNY 3,799 (Approx. 38,000).

Further, the Redmi Smart TV will go on sale from the 3rd of September onwards in China. Speculations are also being prevailed in the environment that the company may also introduce it in the Indian market soon. But we have no words yet on the availability of the TV in India.

Moving to the spec-sheet of the Smart TV, it is a 70-inch display, which supports 4K and HDR technology. Bezels are around the screen to shape it a unique design.

Inside, the smart TV installs an Amlogic 64 quad-core SoC alongside an Android-based PatchWall operating system. For sound output, the TV supports Dolby Audio and DTS HD speakers as well.

Moreover, the TV also provides storage space in the form of 2GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage space.

Besides the TV, Xiaomi also launched two new smartphones Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro. Both of them configures the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 and the MediaTek Helio G90T processors respectively.

The regular version is priced at CNY 999, whereas the Pro edition costs at CNY 1.399.

Similarly, Xiaomi also launched 3 new models of the RedmiBook 14, of which, one configures 10th gen i5 processor and 2 installs 10th gen i5.
