IDC estimates that Apple device shipments are 29.5 million units, higher than in 2018. In the third quarter of 2019, it reaches 10 million units. The information said the global wearable wrist device market grew by 65 percent in the third quarter of 2019, and Xiaomi company’s wearable wrist device shipments have the maximum shipping amount. It reaches to 1220 million units. Besides, it’s year-on-year growth is 74. 4%, and its market share reached 27%. Xiaomi’s growth is thanks to the strong domestic performance and great overseas expansion.
Apple with a 15% market share ranked second. The 60% of shipments are thanks to the latest Apple Apple Watch Series 5 smartwatches. Huawei with 590 million shipments and 13 percent market share ranked third. It is worth to say that in the Chinese market sales growth is enormous and the annual growth rate is 243 percent.
