From January 7 to 10 next year, the 2020 Xiaomi CES show will open as scheduled in Las Vegas, USA. In addition to Apple re-entering after 27 years, Chinese manufacturers have a lot of interest. The time is on the last day of the exhibition. That is on January 10.
The trailer reads “Special Product Launch Event Only for Innovations”. The picture in the trailer seems to be a phone. First, they highlighted the picture. Then, the word “MIX” appeared.

In the picture, we can see that Xiaomi is more likely to display the camera technology under the screen. It is more directly announced to be the “Xiaomi Mi MIX 4” that many people expect. Of course, Xiaomi has already announced many new technology products. So, dual-folding screen phones, 100W fast charging phones, etc. can also be expected.
Xiaomi is developing an under-screen camera phone
Xiaomi has been working on an under-screen front-facing smartphone camera. It doesn’t require a notch or hole to function. In this sense, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 will be a pioneer.

We’ve yet to talk to anyone who enjoys having a notch or hole cut out of their smartphone display. So, the introduction of the under-screen front-facing cameras can’t come soon enough. Xiaomi’s solution to the problem removes the need for a notch or hole but requires a custom smartphone display in order to work. Xiaomi’s senior vice president Wang Xiang tweeted out images accompanied by an explanation of how its under-screen camera technology works. The reason phones need a notch is because the camera requires any materials above it to be transparent to allow light to enter. In a normal phone display, this is not the case as the cathode and anode layers aren’t transparent.
From the recently revealed S11 series renderings, Samsung’s choice is a more mature central hole screen solution. Thus, we don’t know if Xiaomi can take a step ahead of the screen camera.
