Today, Redmi held a new product launch conference in Beijing, China. The conference brought many new Redmi products, ranging from smartphones to speakers. One of them is the Redmi Xiao Ai speaker. In addition, it should be noted, that this is the first time that Redmi has brought out speakers to the market.
The list of the new products, launched by Redmi, includes the Redmi K30 series smartphones, RedmiBook 13 notebooks, and a large wave of smart hardware that includes not only Redmi’s first smart speaker product, called Xiaomi Redmi Speaker Play, but also the first router AC2100.
The Redmi Xiao Ai Speaker comes in a rectangular shape with a hollow surface design. The inspiration of the speaker was the dessert macarons. It is equipped with a 5-watt speaker unit and a 350cc large sound cavity. The Redmi Xiao Ai Speaker appears in the market in three colors.
The Redmi speaker has outstanding sound quality with the latest generation of Bluetooth mesh gateway. Moreover, it is a good partner for smart door locks and light bulbs.
In addition, the Redmi XiaoAi speaker features a built-in voice assistant that can identify the users by their voiceprint. Nevertheless, this speaker is the first one that supports Xiao Ai male voice.
And finally, this super Redmi Xiao Ai speaker costs 79 yuan ($11). The speaker will go on sale at 10 am on December 12, 2019.
Coming to the Redmi router AC2100, it is the first of its kind from Redmi. The router is equipped with six signal amplifiers that include two 2.4 GHz amplifiers and four 5GHz signal amplifiers. In addition, it also has a built-in NetWase UU accelerator. This will help with PC, mobile phones, PS4, Switch, and Xbox game platforms.
Redmi AC2100 router costs 169 yuan ($23) and will go on sale on December 12th. Furthermore, the new users of the router will get 3 months of accelerated services for free.
