At present, Samsung has launched the A90 5G mobile phone, which uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 mobile platform. The price of 3899 yuan in the three Galaxy product lines is also very good. However, considering that next year will be the year when 5G phones gradually become popular, the price of 2,000 to 3,000 yuan will be the main competition market for various brands of 5G phones.

Mediatek said it expects six million 5G phones to be powered by MediaTek processors in the first quarter of next year, and that MediaTek’s shipments of 5G chips will increase further with the addition of Samsung.

In response to this situation, while introducing its own 5G chips, Samsung will also adopt the plan from MediaTek in the middle and low-end models, so as to launch more 5G mobile phone products at this price. In addition, Samsung will also give some of its middle and low-end products to ODM OEM factories in China, which will undoubtedly further increase the demand for MediaTek processors.
