Originally the Xiaomi Redmi K30 was said to come in red. But recently, the purple version was spotted. From the leaked photos, we can see the top border of the phone is almost equal to the left and right borders. The chin width is slightly larger.

Based on existing information, the Redmi K30 4G version measures 165.3 × 76.6 × 8.81mm and weighs 208g. The diagonal of the screen is 6.67 inches, and it has a resolution of 2400 × 1080. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology certification information shows that this phone has many colors of blue, black, green, pink, red, and white.

The Redmi K30 series sports the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G next-generation 5G mobile platform and supports dual-mode SA / NSA 5G. Also, the phone supports 30W fast charging and features a 4500mAh battery. The fingerprint recognition module is placed on the side.

In terms of camera, the Redmi K30 series uses a 64-megapixel rear four-camera solution. It is the first to come with the Sony IMX686 CMOS, with a 2cm focus function. Other than that, it sports a dual front camera.

The bezel over the display also seems to house the earpiece. We expect it to continue offering a curved glass panel with multiple cameras. However, the front is still visible and it shows the tall display with the dual punch-hole notch.

The display can switch between 60Hz and 120Hz refresh rate, which is going to be a big trend for 2020. The internal specifications as recognized by the AIDA64 benchmark suggests the use of an Adreno 618 GPU. This implies that at least one of the variants is powered by the Snapdragon 730 CPU. The last screenshot reveals that it will run on MIUI 11, but it’s unclear if it will be based on Android Pie or 10.
