Redmi Note 10 Pro Review: Back To The Roots (Best Performance)

Last year, Redmi launched the 100MP Note series smartphone showing its muscles in the niche where the phone camera is the most important feature. But many users were disappointed of it because these series smartphones have been always known for their great performance. After a year, we got a ‘true’ Note line handset in face of the Redmi Note 10 Pro, which comes with the Dimensity 1100 chip. Plus, there are tons of amazing features such as JBL speakers, 67W flash charging and VC liquid cooling.

Redmi Note 10 Pro Biggest Highlights

However, among all these features, the chip deserves the most attention. The previous generation came with the Snapdragon 750G, which is considered to be a classic mid-range chip. But the Dimensity 1100 is a sub-flagship chip. So we can say the Redmi Note 10 Pro brings the largest performance upgrade in the history of the Note series without any suspense. Also, it is coupled with the high-speed UFS. 3.1 storage, which has a continuous read speed of up to 1800 MB/s. As a result, the handset scores 690,000 in AnTuTu.

Apart from the chip upgrade, the Redmi Note 10 Pro also supports the flagship-level 67W flash charging. So it only takes 45 minutes to charge the 5000mAh battery.

The external sound quality is now also one of the selling points of the Redmi series smartphones. In this sense, the Redmi Note 10 Pro still continues the previous stereo dual-amp audio configuration, and has passed the JBL audio certification. The phone also cooperates with Dolby for deep tuning.

Last year, the Redmi Note 9 became popular due to its LCD screen that was rate at the time. This year’s Redmi Note 10 Pro also continued this tradition, bringing a top LCD screen to everyone. It not only has a high refresh rate of up to 120Hz, but also supports 6-speed variable speed adjustment. The screen can adapt to various scenes, bring smooth pictures and save more power. More importantly, the color of this screen is also greatly improved, supporting DCI-P3 color gamut display, which can provide more vivid colors. With LCD’s inherent advantages of no flicker and more delicate RGB arrangement, it definitely represents the top performance in smartphone LCD screens.

Redmi Note 10 Pro

Although it is a pity that there is no 100MP rear camera, the performance of the Redmi Note 10 Pro with a 64MP lens is not disappointing due to the improved ISP performance of the Dimensity 1100. It can be extremely excellent in both day and night shooting. The filming rate is high, the picture is pure, and it has a good tolerance performance. The wide-angle + macro sub-camera is quite satisfactory and can meet the needs of more scenes.
