Today, Sudhanshu Ambhore, an influencer said on Weibo that the Redmi K30 Pro will be officially launched in March 2020.
Recently, the company itself and a few other sources released many configuration information of the Redmi K30 series smartphones. In addition, the 4G version of Redmi K30 has also been certified by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Now, the Redmi K30 series is just around the corner with 5G networking capabilities and it could feature MediaTek’s Dimensity 1000 5G SoC.
Lu Weibing, the Redmi General Manager, officially revealed that the 5G successor to Redmi K20 series will be the Redmi K30 series on his Weibo page. On his official Weibo account, Lu Weibing also congratulated MediaTek for the new Dimensity 1000 SoC. This chipset is the latest high-end mobile SoC from MediaTek, which is also capable of 5G networking. Previously, Redmi and MediaTek had partnered for the Redmi Note 8 Pro, which featured the latter’s G90T SoC. Hence, the extension between business relations could very well see the Redmi K30’s Pro variant featuring the Dimensity 1000 SoC.
However, there is less information about the Redmi K30 Pro phone. Previously, it was leaked that Redmi K30 Pro may be equipped with Snapdragon 865 processor + Snapdragon X55 5G baseband. Some users ask whether it will be released in India or China. Sudhanshu Ambhore said that it will be obviously released in the Chinese market.
