Today, Redmi officially stated that the Redmi K30 series will be fully equipped with MIUI 11 stable version. It supports Vientiane information screen, high-speed file mutual transmission, and multi-format adapted document viewing.
MIUI 11 brings more comprehensive screen design, removes redundant visual symbols, adds a new large screen touch interactive control, optimizes the Chinese character shape, and adopts a new Western design. By the way, MIUI 11 adopts the world’s first dynamic font system.
Even so, it’s still impressive that this phone is getting the latest version of Xiaomi’s proprietary Android overlay. The release is named MIUI V188.8.131.52.NAMMIXM and has a size of 483MB.
Starting with the visual aspects, the MIUI 11 brings a more polished design, slightly softer icons, new natural effects and alarms, a system-wide dark mode and plenty of new themes, wallpapers, animations and also improved notification system. The security patch level, meanwhile, is October 2018.
Xiaomi also announced the new Mi Go Travel suite, which will help you with booking tickets for a broad range of transport ranging from airplane to rail and bus alongside currency conversion and an extreme power-saving mode.
The Mi Work suite comes with pre-installed WPS office apps and improved file management for documents. Plus, it supports screencasting and more printers. Another new addition is Family Guard which lets you track the live location of family members as well as set time restraints on app use.
In terms of hardware, according to Redmi, the Redmi K30 series will be equipped with a new generation of 5G mobile platform, Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G. It will also sport a 4500mAh capacity battery, supporting 30W fast charge. Other attractive features include a side fingerprint sensor and a quad-camera. The latter includes a 64MP ultra-clear main lens, a 2cm ultra-macro lens, a 120° ultra-wide-angle lens, etc.
